Improve behaviour with regard to ordering of tasks
There are some quirks around the ordering of tasks:
1. If you assign a task to a project (or change it from one project to another), it jumps up to the top of the list. There seems to be no reason why it should not just stay in the same position in the list.
2. I was moving tasks from 'Inbox' to 'Someday', and the application put them in what seemed like completely random positions amongst the tasks already in 'Someday'.1 vote -
provide an option when completing a task to automatically create a next action
Often, I will complete a task and immediately need to set up a next action. It would be great if there was a way to optionally “complete” the action and have the app bring up a task entry screen set to the same project, tags, etc.

Allow me to choose my GID email address, or at least default it to my user name. The list of random numbers is ridiculous.
I'm amazed that an app designed to simplify things would create such a confusing default email address. Can it default to the user name OR allow us to choose our own?

Add more keyboard shortcuts (Create new project, change focus, etc)
I just found the "+" or "=" keyboard shortcut to create a new task. This was burried in the forums; it should be noted on the "Add New Task" dialog box as a hint, so that more people could become aware of it.
In my last task management app (NirvanaHQ), they had a "t" keyboard shortcut to add a new task, and a "p" keyboard shortcut to add a new project.
Would also be nice to scroll through what focus you are looking at, perhaps with the "f" key?

Display the Next list in the daily reminder email.
The email reminder has Inbox and Today, and it would be helpful to visualize the Next list, too.

Links to LIve URLs, files and address book
I'd like to be able to have live URL links, liks to documents and links to address book entries within the project.
For a general project, I'll have a directory on my laptop that I'll drop all relevant files into, that I want to link to. I also may have external links, and most certainly will have contacts. At the moment there is an Add File in an Edit Project screen, but I need it to be more flexible than that. I'll revise the original document, and can't be updating the GID entry every time. Workflowy is an amazing tool... I don't know what to compare it to but it is an organizing thoughts, project kind of app... integrating with this would be awesome

I would like to be able to convert a note within Evernote to a task or project with the note being the attachment to the task / project for reference purposes.

I would like to be able to view all tasks within an area, regardless of focus, project or tags.
This would help when looking for a task and I can't remember where I put it, when I need to see everything on my to do list (in case my boss asks for it), etc. I basically want to be able to have a really "big picture" view of all pending tasks.

Allow projects (& tasks) to be assigned to multiple areas (example: Personal and Church, but not Work)
Pretty straightforward suggestion. Right now a project must be assigned to only one area (of responsibility, as GID calls it). I can think of many examples of when I would like to assign a project to two or more areas. It would be ideal to select one or more areas similar to how tags are selected. Come to think of it, it would be nice to assign tasks to more than one area as well.

Smart search function
It would be nice to be able to search by specific dates: this week, next week, this month, next month, interval search. An other good option would be to be able to list in one window all of the (not ready) tasks which are marked with a specific tag (f.e.: high), independently from the are, projects, etc., they are belong to.

List Evernote stacks instead of notebooks, or at least hide nested notebooks from the navigation pane (and open them in the main window)
I would like to see my Evernote stacks listed on the left navigation pane instead of individual nested notebooks. I understand that not every notebook is grouped in a stack (potentially), but notebooks that are in a stack should be opened in the main window, not the navigation pane. Easy to implement.
I would also like a way to sign out or switch Evernote accounts in the settings. I can't find how to do this anywhere. I am considering making a new separate Evernote account just for getitdone until the integration is better implemented, so that I can reorganize my…

In the "Scheduled" view, and the date tag for the repeat items also
When you schedule a task for review, you can see the date that task will be brought to you attention in a tag at the left of its name.
However, if you set a recurring task you don't have a way to know easily when is it going to repeat, especially for "repeat after completion" tasks.
