    Simplicity is the key with GTD. The provision of nested tasks and automation would start to over complicate everything, especially when it needed to be undone. Task management, dependencies and stuff like that is all handled well by Project management packages, use one of them.

    Elsewhere I have posted a request for user options so that we can control our own world and preferences. In this case it would be :
    'Allow scheduled tasks to automatically move into today? Yes/No'
    'Move scheduled and next tasks into intray ? Yes/No

    No. Today should be a personal manual job, there can't be many tasks in a day surely, just put them into the inbox, maybe classify them so they can be easily picked up and put into today.
