For someone like me who is dyslexic and a more visual person, tag words don’t work well. I’ll confuse them, or spell them wrong, or get them backwards. OneNote has a set of Icons for everyday stuff, a phone (call), a plane (travel), a meal (dinner date), $ (something to buy or pay), ect. You can assign each icon whatever “tag” you want, rather than writing out the tag in words. It would be great to attach an icon to a task. Like if I need to “call John” next to “call john” would be an icon of a phone, so at a glance I can see my tasks both visually and by tag or description. We would just need the ability to either upload our own icons and assign them a “tag” and to a task, or an included icon suite to use them however we wanted to with or replacing written “tags.” I’d pay a bit more for a license to have visual tags, and those that don’t want them could skip that extra cost. Even an image preview like in evernote would allow for me to put my own icons into a task and have them appear as mini thumbnails in the task itself.
