Fixing sync issues

As you know, Get It Done is an online app which also syncs across multiple mobile devices like Blackberry, Android, iPhone, and iPad. Mobile devices have a tendency to not be the most reliable place to keep all of your data. There are many situations where the data on the mobile device can become corrupt such as battery pulls, interrupted syncing, or bad internet connection.

This is why your online account always has priority when it comes to data. If your mobile device ever becomes out of sync or has trouble syncing there are a few ways to get a fresh copy of your data from your Get It Done online account.

The first thing to try is is to log out of the app then log back in. To log out of the app:

  • Go into Get It Done
  • Click on the Settings icon in the lower left corner of the app
  • Click on ‘Logout’ button

The next time you log into the app you should get a fresh copy from the server.

If this doesn’t fix your issue the next thing to try (which fixes 99% of all issues) is to delete the app all together from the mobile device and reinstall it through the app store.

If you are still having trouble syncing then contact support, there are not too many issues that we cannot fix.
