  5. Allow projects (& tasks) to be assigned to multiple areas (example: Personal and Church, but not Work)

Pretty straightforward suggestion. Right now a project must be assigned to only one area (of responsibility, as GID calls it). I can think of many examples of when I would like to assign a project to two or more areas. It would be ideal to select one or more areas similar to how tags are selected. Come to think of it, it would be nice to assign tasks to more than one area as well.

  6. Add more keyboard shortcuts (Create new project, change focus, etc)

I just found the "+" or "=" keyboard shortcut to create a new task. This was burried in the forums; it should be noted on the "Add New Task" dialog box as a hint, so that more people could become aware of it.

In my last task management app (NirvanaHQ), they had a "t" keyboard shortcut to add a new task, and a "p" keyboard shortcut to add a new project.

Would also be nice to scroll through what focus you are looking at, perhaps with the "f" key?

    Thanks for the great product!

  7. Can we get more integration with Evernote?

I would like to be able to convert a note within Evernote to a task or project with the note being the attachment to the task / project for reference purposes.

  10. provide an option when completing a task to automatically create a next action

Often, I will complete a task and immediately need to set up a next action. It would be great if there was a way to optionally “complete” the action and have the app bring up a task entry screen set to the same project, tags, etc.

  11. Improve behaviour with regard to ordering of tasks

There are some quirks around the ordering of tasks:
    1. If you assign a task to a project (or change it from one project to another), it jumps up to the top of the list. There seems to be no reason why it should not just stay in the same position in the list.
    2. I was moving tasks from 'Inbox' to 'Someday', and the application put them in what seemed like completely random positions amongst the tasks already in 'Someday'.

After searching for a task organizer on my Nokia Win 8 phone, I like you app the best. I am considering upgrading so I can get the apps for my Windows 8 tablet and Windows 8 laptop.

I'm using Microsoft OneNote 2013 and really would like to use it as a companion software with your "GetItDone" app. I see OneNote as software to layout the details of my projects and GetItDone as the place to list and track the I need to perform for each project.

I'm not suggesting exporting entire projects/workbooks out of OneNote, but maybe a "tasks tab"…

  14. Create an 'at a glance' view.

similar to the daily reminder e-mails, so you can quickly view all outstanding tasks within the app

  15. Emailing tasks directly to People category

Emailing tasks is great but the # functionality does not allow tasks to email directly into a People category. Please consider adding this.

  16. Automatically apply a newly created project to a task

    1. Select a task
    2. Click on Project
    3. Add New Project and save it
    4. In order to apply that project to the task you have to click the just-created project. It should be automatically added to the task. I always forget to click on the project and have to go back in and fix it, or worse, don't notice until later.

  17. Easy way to file into Areas

I email myself a lot of tasks and love that I can quickly use the buttons to add tags and projects. It would be great if I could also do this with Areas

Rename 'Next' to ' Soon' & have 'NextAction' instead. Or create a Status field with options of NextAction, Active, OnHold, WaitingOn, DelegatedTo, Plan, etc. Planning and NextAction are the heart of GTD, as is review. Thanks.

  20. Timetracking simple with tag-possibilities.

    Hi.
    Will you include timetracking?
    Here´s my reason:
I´ve been a GTD:er for over 10years now. Only use Outlook standard with Exchange sync to phones (both wp8 och iphone). But I also use a very clean and simple plug-in for timetracking in Outlook (In a 7habits-way). Very good to keep all in one place. I just need tracking for my own. Thats why it should be simple simple and simple.
My problem now is that there is no more dev for plug-in and we are planning to move to Oulook 2013. So I decided to leave outlook for my GTD-7habits.…
