  2. Improve responsiveness of the user interface

The user interface is quite sluggish, it would be nice for it to be snappier.

  5. Add inking features for Windows 10

For those of us Windows 10 users with inking capabilities (ie Surface Pen or Wacom Pens), it would be great to be able to handwrite tasks instead of always typing them. Thanks for taking my suggestion into consideration.

  7. Allow tasks to have no focus

A project consists of many steps and often the one "next action" must take place before any of the others can proceed. Those "blocked" actions don't really fit in "next", "inbox", or "someday". It would be useful not to have to give them any focus until they can actually proceed, or to give them their own focus called "held" or "blocked" or something like that. This makes review of the other focus areas simpler, quicker, and requires less remembering "oh wait I can't do anything with that task because it belongs to project Z and requires completion of another step…

  8. Emails (and not all being tasks) and formatting

Not all emails into GID are tasks. Many are responses and show as tasks when in GID. This is problematic. They are needed for clarity but are not tasks.

Additionally the formatting of emails are mostly lost, and in many case you have to select the Task notes rather than the task itself to see the full email in a somewhat readable manner.

Cure the formatting and display on emailed in tasks.

Allow Emailed in "Tasks" to be attached to previous tasks rather than be stand alone tasks.

  9. I would like Smart Groups & Projects to be Children of Areas by default

When an Area has been selected, anything created within that Area should belong to that Area. It's confusing to create a Smart Group or Task while within an Area and then have to go an extra step to associate it with the Area you are already in. If someone wants to create a task that is not associated with a specific Area then all they would have to do is create it when they are in the All Areas view.

  10. Display the number of completed items

App is fantastic. A suggestion: it would great to display the number of completed tasks; as it is for example for the inbox. It feels good to see how many tasks you have completed. Thanks! Armand

  11. Under Focus, add a "Tomorrow" choice

This would be more useful than the "Next" button which has no connotation related to timing. I often want to move a selection from either the Inbox or Today to just go to tomorrow. This would be a lot fewer steps than opening the scheduler, picking a new date and saving.

  13. Global Inbox even if in specific Area

When you narrow your focus to a specific Area you only see that areas Inbox. This is problematic if you have new items coming into GID that will only show if the Area is set to "All Areas". It would be nice if the Inbox is global (showing all inbox items even when in specific Area) or if you can set a toggle to allow the inbox items globally even when you have selected a specific Area.

  15. Add a 'Create New Project' option in the 'Move Task/Project' pop-up box

Otherwise you have to come out of the task, go to the scroll menu on the left, then add a project from there. Once done, you then have to go back to the task to assign the project to it.

  17. Adding People contacts in Team Accounts

It would be nice if when you were adding people contacts, it would populate or allow you to select from team members already added to the team account.

  20. List Evernote stacks instead of notebooks, or at least hide nested notebooks from the navigation pane (and open them in the main window)

I would like to see my Evernote stacks listed on the left navigation pane instead of individual nested notebooks. I understand that not every notebook is grouped in a stack (potentially), but notebooks that are in a stack should be opened in the main window, not the navigation pane. Easy to implement.

I would also like a way to sign out or switch Evernote accounts in the settings. I can't find how to do this anywhere. I am considering making a new separate Evernote account just for getitdone until the integration is better implemented, so that I can reorganize my…
