Tasks With Subtasks, Convert to Outcomes/Projects Automatically!
This has already been asked for by several people.
Subtasks is a necessary feature! After all, David Allen defines projects as outcomes, which are themselves just multi-task...tasks. The corollary to this for GID is a subtask system.
Tasks with subtasks should automatically become Outcomes themselves. Being forced into defining "projects" at the outset is stifling to the creative process GTD is supposed to preserve.
I hope you, devs, can respond soon to one of these requests for subtasks for a task (not only tasks within a project). Thanks!

We are investigating ways to add subtasks without adding too much complexity into the app. There are some usability issues we need to work out such as if you have a task with subtasks in "Next" and you want to do one of the sub tasks "Today" do we allow moving just one task to today folder or move the entire task tree there. There are a lot of little usability complexities that come up if we introduce subtasks to Get It Done.
