This really does need to be present in GID. Not very LEAN if the person receiving a task has to go thru and assign it to an Area, Project, and Focus when the originator has done that once already. We are now using ManageIt but the crossover between the shared projects and the GID/GTD functionality are needed badly.

You really should look at merging the two, especially for teams.

Adding the ability to share projects like ManageItApp does would be very good.

I'm looking for a replacement to wunderlist that supports web, ios and windows phone, which I can share task lists with my family... This functionality would allow me to consider getitdone, without it, it's a non-starter.

Thanks for the feedback, our new team app (http://manageitapp.com) has full project sharing. We are still considering adding this functionality to Get It Done but we need to see how well it works in our new app.

Absolutely! I want to be able to share Projects with my wife. At the moment the only way would be for us both to log in with the same credentials but then that would share everything including all my Work and Freelance Projects.

If this is going to be used on any sort of corporate level this is a must. You guys are close to having a great tool here but it need better project sharing, project templates, and updates of team tasks completed or reassigned. Let's get some of this done.
