I use Evernote extensively. I create to do items in my meeting notes while in the meeting for follow up.
It would be great to be able to highlight text in an Evernote note and then select "Create a Task in GetItDone". The task window would pop up and allow the date and project info to be selected or created.
Within Evernote there would be an indicator of a task and a date.
We added the ability to attach Evernotes to a task in the new version of the app. It is not exactly the same as you requested but we are getting closer.
