The ability to complete or archive a project once all tasks within the project are done.
I would like to be able to remove a project from the sidebar once all tasks have been completed, but not fully delete the project.
16 votesWe added support for archiving projects in the new app.
If you are not yet on the new version here is how to get on it:

Project Templates and/or Import
I work in real estate and there are often things that need to be duplicated. For example each project will have a few sales. Each sale process is almost the same, however they move at different rates. I would like to have a template or import the tasks from a spreadsheet for each sale, and so that I don't have to rewrite each task for every new sale.

We created a BB10 app which will work on the new BlackBerry Phones. We have no plans on supporting older BlackBerry Phones. You can try to use the web app at app.getitdoneapp.com in the web browser on the phone if you have an older phone.
Thanks

I would really like to see a native Mac OS X app and a full-size iPad app. The web can be so slow :)
The web ui is OK, but it's not smooth or fast. The workflow is correct. Checkout the Evernote apps for examples.
14 votesThe new Get It Done has both a Windows and an OSX app. Goto this link to learn how to get on the new app:

Remove ' there are no active tasks in this list' warning - just clutters up the screen
Compared to the old app the screen is much more cluttered with words and icons which makes it much harder and slower to read quickly.
When a project has no tasks in a certain focus (today/in/next etc) then this warning appears multiple times - once in each focus section.
This really drains cognitive function :(
The odd app was nice and simple - if there was nothing there , there was nothing there :)12 votesHi everyone!
This “there are no active tasks…” warning is now removed from Project view. Just refresh your browser. This will be rolled out to the mobile apps in a few weeks.
Thanks again for your feedback and keep them coming!

I know this is an old suggestion, but this was implemented last year, we just forgot to close this issue in our forum. Thanks!

Add a Later box, similar to Next and Someday.
Would like to use for imminent items that are NOT Next on a project, but not "Someday" either. Someday seems like it may never happen, but these items have to happen for a project, they're just not the Next action.
11 votesHi there!
Thank you for your feedback. I wanted to explain our stance before closing the feedback.
There is a way for you to create a custom Focus Areas. See here for details:
https://marcucio.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/25000006698-how-do-i-create-a-custom-focus-area-i-e-waiting-for-folder-We are hesitant to add extra Focus Areas since we’d like to stay true to David Allen’s methodology. Since we keep our apps very simple and flexible, our users actually told us of this workaround. :)
If you are still with us, give it a go and let us know if this is still an issue for you or if you need something different.

Change width of left column
Create the ability to drag the width of the left column wider to see more of the task title.
10 votesThank you for submitting this feedback. We’ve widen the left navigation bar! There are two sizes now (small and large). If we detect a larger screen space, we will use the larger navigation bar.
We’ve also added a tool tip if your project names still won’t fit. Just hover your mouse over the project name and the complete Project name should appear.

Email tasks without having to go out of GID
The ability to email anyone a task who is not a member of GID from within GID. There are times when you need to email someone (who is not a member of GID) to delegate or ask about a task. The problem now is you have to out of GID to do it. It would be great to be able to stay in GID. Thanks for all the improvements and speed the app has now!

You can now email a single task or a whole task list to someone outside of Get It Done. Steps can be found here:
