  1. List Evernote stacks instead of notebooks, or at least hide nested notebooks from the navigation pane (and open them in the main window)

    I would like to see my Evernote stacks listed on the left navigation pane instead of individual nested notebooks. I understand that not every notebook is grouped in a stack (potentially), but notebooks that are in a stack should be opened in the main window, not the navigation pane. Easy to implement.

    I would also like a way to sign out or switch Evernote accounts in the settings. I can't find how to do this anywhere. I am considering making a new separate Evernote account just for getitdone until the integration is better implemented, so that I can reorganize my…

  2. Smart search function

    It would be nice to be able to search by specific dates: this week, next week, this month, next month, interval search. An other good option would be to be able to list in one window all of the (not ready) tasks which are marked with a specific tag (f.e.: high), independently from the are, projects, etc., they are belong to.

  3. Create "Global" Hotkey for entering tasks while working in other programs

    While doing a task in another program, i'd like a way create tasks in Get it Done. Currently, I have to open the website, move to my iPad/iPhone etc to enter the task. I'd like to hit some key combination, have the edit task entry screen appear (similar to hitting "+" or "=" in the web application), enter my data, save and move on. The purpose of this is to be able to capture items when they shoot into my mind.

    My music player has a feature where I can assign "global" hot keys so I can start and stop…

  4. Links to LIve URLs, files and address book

    I'd like to be able to have live URL links, liks to documents and links to address book entries within the project.

    For a general project, I'll have a directory on my laptop that I'll drop all relevant files into, that I want to link to. I also may have external links, and most certainly will have contacts. At the moment there is an Add File in an Edit Project screen, but I need it to be more flexible than that. I'll revise the original document, and can't be updating the GID entry every time.   5. I would like to be able to view all tasks within an area, regardless of focus, project or tags.

    This would help when looking for a task and I can't remember where I put it, when I need to see everything on my to do list (in case my boss asks for it), etc. I basically want to be able to have a really "big picture" view of all pending tasks.

  7. In the "Scheduled" view, and the date tag for the repeat items also

    When you schedule a task for review, you can see the date that task will be brought to you attention in a tag at the left of its name.

    However, if you set a recurring task you don't have a way to know easily when is it going to repeat, especially for "repeat after completion" tasks.

  9. Option to have completed tasks be recorded in Evernote on the date completed

  11. Sync with google tasks

    I like get it done, but I also use google tasks. I would like to be able to sync get it done with google tasks. I have different lists in my google tasks, and it would be nice to be able to sync with whichever list I choose. Syncing with the calendar is nice, but not enough for my needs. Thanks...

  18. Add task count to project, groups and people.

    This feature already exists for focus and is very helpful.
    Since there may not always be tasks associated with people or projects it would be helpful to not have to open each person or project to see if there are any pending tasks.

  20. add viewable metrics so we have a positive feedback loop of how well we are doing.

    There's no way to view our history and see how we've been doing at forming small, doable tasks, and getting them done!
