Easy way to file into Areas
I email myself a lot of tasks and love that I can quickly use the buttons to add tags and projects. It would be great if I could also do this with Areas

Automatically apply a newly created project to a task
- Select a task
- Click on Project
- Add New Project and save it
- In order to apply that project to the task you have to click the just-created project. It should be automatically added to the task. I always forget to click on the project and have to go back in and fix it, or worse, don't notice until later.

Emailing tasks is great but the # functionality does not allow tasks to email directly into a People category. Please consider adding this.

Assigning Project To Task: Type / Search Instead Of Scrolling For Project
I have a lot of projects and even by assigning them to more areas, I find that it would be easier and quicker to use if, instead of scrolling through the projects (when adding a task via 'add task') if I could start typing the project name and it would show up. A little like when you start typing a search in Google, it provides suggestions. Evernote's search do it now too. That would be super cool. :0)

Allow tasks to be linked so they can be executed sequentially.
Some tasks need to be linked so they can follow one after another. Would be great if they automatically got dropped in appropriate 'next' or 'today' buckets as well.

Create a 'forecast' view
Create a view similar to Omni which allows you to see a graphical overview of scheduled tasks by by day for the next 7 - 14 days. Should have the ability to move tasks around on that window (if possible).

I'm using Microsoft OneNote 2013 and really would like to use it as a companion software with your "GetItDone" app. I see OneNote as software to layout the details of my projects and GetItDone as the place to list and track the I need to perform for each project.
I'm not suggesting exporting entire projects/workbooks out of OneNote, but maybe a "tasks tab"…
