Email tasks without having to go out of GID
The ability to email anyone a task who is not a member of GID from within GID. There are times when you need to email someone (who is not a member of GID) to delegate or ask about a task. The problem now is you have to out of GID to do it. It would be great to be able to stay in GID. Thanks for all the improvements and speed the app has now!
10 votesHi there!

add this functionality: ability to Re-organize items on Blackberry Playbook and Blackberry Z10
Hello, love this software, outstanding, it beats anything I have ever used.
The only thing I would like to see is the capacity to re-order the items when using Playbook or Z10. From the browser, click and drag works like a charm. As far as I can see, there is no way to re-roganize items (in "Today" Focus for example) on my mobile devices.
Other than that, it is as if you guys wrote exactly the software that I wanted, love the "Today" function, Next function and all the flexibility. The search is awesome
Thanks

Order direction
I dont speak about order criteria, like due date, but only about the direction of the order.
At the moment, tasks order is "bottom to top" : the new task appears at the top. It would be a good thing to have a option to ask to order in the other direction : "top to bottom", with the new tasks appears at the bottom.
Not a big thing to do, and very annoying when the order is not the one you usually use (like in emails for example).
1 voteHi Christophe!
Thank you for your feedback. I know this response is loooooong overdue. This was missed when we were going through clean up.
Looks like you are already using GID version 5 app. So you probably found out that this feature has already been implemented. You can switch the task order by changing that arrow next to “Add Task…” textfield. Let me know if you can’t find it.
Keep the feedback coming! Thanks.
Cheers,

Resizeable sidebar

Today only the first 17 characters are possible to read.1 voteHi Erik,
I know this response is long over due. Originally, we wanted to keep all feedback alive FOREVER but we need to keep the numbers low in order to keep productive. Hence, we are spring cleaning…
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that we just released Get It Done 5 with some exciting new features, including this one you requested so long ago (I know!). You can read more about it here: http://blog.getitdoneapp.com/2017/02/01-all-new-get-it-done-task-app/
Anyway, if you’re still looking, feel free to come back. Thanks again for your feedback.

Add ability to delete tasks
Currently the only way to delete a task is to complete it. Deleting and completing are two separate actions and should be treated as such.
36 votesThe new Get It Done allows you to delete the task right from the edit task dialog. Goto this link to learn how to get on the new app:

Add a field showing the number of uncompleted tasks assigned or delegated to each person similar to the inbox
Add a field showing the number of uncompleted tasks assigned to each person in the "people" list. Just like the number of tasks showing in inbox, today, etc.

I would really like to see a native Mac OS X app and a full-size iPad app. The web can be so slow :)
The web ui is OK, but it's not smooth or fast. The workflow is correct. Checkout the Evernote apps for examples.

Import task list from ACT sales database
ACT by Sage has a task list which would be great if it sync'd with Get it done - but also would need to update the result of the task as well
3 votesHi there!
You can now import from a spreadsheet using the steps here:
http://support.getitdoneapp.com/support/solutions/articles/25000010734-how-to-import-tasks-from-a-spreadsheet-If it doesn’t work, just send us a sample csv file and we can take a look. Thanks again for your feedback and keep the ideas coming!

Show project name instead of Icon
When viewing tasks by focus, the project name should be displayed instead of the icon. Otherwise, you have to use unnatural naming conventions in the task to recognize what project it belongs to.

Add a folder where I can store a few relevent files for use on the move.
A few MB's of space for a folder would be really handy so I could pop files in when I am away from work.

When editing a task, provide dropdown to also move to a folder
When going through the inbox and assigning tags, due dates, etc. would be helpful to also be able to assign a "folder" - Someday, Next, and so on

Don't let the notes hover for so long.
Sometimes when my mouse hovers over the note section, my notes hang out for way too long and I cannot see the rest of my screen. If someone wants to read their notes -- maybe they can just click into the icon.
