Be able to set a folder as a default such as Today
Having the ability to set a folder to be a default would be a great addition. Currently it goes to inbox, but when I fire the app up I would really like to know what I am doing today
3 votesWe just added the ability to select which folder you would like recurring tasks to go into. The default is Inbox but you can change this when you edit or add the recurring task:
- Open the recurring task
- Click “this task repeats”
- Chance the option for “New Tasks will be created in”This change is live in the web app and will come to the native apps in the next update..

add this functionality: ability to Re-organize items on Blackberry Playbook and Blackberry Z10
Hello, love this software, outstanding, it beats anything I have ever used.
The only thing I would like to see is the capacity to re-order the items when using Playbook or Z10. From the browser, click and drag works like a charm. As far as I can see, there is no way to re-roganize items (in "Today" Focus for example) on my mobile devices.
Other than that, it is as if you guys wrote exactly the software that I wanted, love the "Today" function, Next function and all the flexibility. The search is awesome
Thanks

Add ability to delete tasks
Currently the only way to delete a task is to complete it. Deleting and completing are two separate actions and should be treated as such.
36 votesThe new Get It Done allows you to delete the task right from the edit task dialog. Goto this link to learn how to get on the new app:

Desktop version. Follow a lot of what Evernote did to become suggestful. Thx. T.
Evernote took their app success to another level by adding the desktop application. This allowed it become part of people's work flow. I do everything in there.

Order direction
I dont speak about order criteria, like due date, but only about the direction of the order.
At the moment, tasks order is "bottom to top" : the new task appears at the top. It would be a good thing to have a option to ask to order in the other direction : "top to bottom", with the new tasks appears at the bottom.
Not a big thing to do, and very annoying when the order is not the one you usually use (like in emails for example).
1 voteHi Christophe!
Thank you for your feedback. I know this response is loooooong overdue. This was missed when we were going through clean up.
Looks like you are already using GID version 5 app. So you probably found out that this feature has already been implemented. You can switch the task order by changing that arrow next to “Add Task…” textfield. Let me know if you can’t find it.
Keep the feedback coming! Thanks.
Cheers,

Emailed tasks automatically parses out tags, projects, due dates, etc.
When emailing a task to account, we can code our subject line to include tags, projects, due dates that the system automatically recognizes and parses out. For example, "Get TPS report from John @Office #BigProject !nextweek" would create a task "Get TPS report..." with tag "@Office", for Project "BigProject, and due the following week.

BCC emailing of tasks to Get It Done
I think this will be great & handy feature to have. I know GID team must have thought about it. None of the other well known GTD apps around have it.
Email of tasks to Get It Done via BCC will save some time & effort.

I would really like to see a native Mac OS X app and a full-size iPad app. The web can be so slow :)
The web ui is OK, but it's not smooth or fast. The workflow is correct. Checkout the Evernote apps for examples.
